La Nina to bring bonus cyclones
Reported in the Courier Mail 16 October 2007:
“Forecasters expect more cyclones this season than in recent years due to a La Nina weather pattern.”

Bring it on! The last few years have been a bit lacking in the cyclone swell department, so this is welcome news for Gold Coast surfers. Keep a close eye on the BOM’s cyclone watch as the season kicks in… Thanks to Booya for the heads up…
