Surrounded by girls in grey mini-skirts
A little bit cryptic? Misleading? In fact, I’m waiting in a slow moving virtual queue to buy tickets for Splendour in the Grass 2007. Its been a tumultuous morning of emotional highs and lows since the tickets went on sale this morning at 9am. I’ve been on the queue and kicked off it many times in the last few hours, hence the mixture of tears and joy I’ve had to endure. Right now I’m back in the queue after thrashing a direct link that was posted on the official MySpace for the event, but who knows if I’ll make it this time! Well if I do manage to get to the front of the queue and get tickets, I’ll have even more queues to look forward to in August when I’m actually at the event and need a beer…
Hope I see you there!
Update: After 4 hours in the queue, I managed to get the tickets! Nice to see somebody has already taken advantage of Wikipedia to vent their frustration. I’ve screenshotted it -> in case the rant has been removed by the time you read this… (thanks hacked2death)

I’m in the same bloody queue. I stare at the screen, the application seems to fail, and then I get either a “you closed your browse” or a “you are trying to cheat” message.
Freakin’ annoying!
Nice site by the way.
I feel so lucky that I managed to get tickets! Seen varying reports of the crappy queue system around the place… Someone on the J forum claims they got theirs in 20 minutes. How is that fair?
Camping tickets are sold out already! Now my gf is going to spend all day trying to book accommodation…
Glad you like the site!
