Taj wins the 2007 Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach

In an entertaining final against Andy Irons, Taj Burrow waited until the dieing minutes to post a 9-point ride that took him into the lead, leaving AI with under a minute to score a 9.33 to take the win. Taj’s first WCT win since 2004 puts him in equal 1st place on the ratings alongside Mick Fanning.

On the downside, my fantasy surfer scores have been severely screwed by this turn of events…  I knew I should’ve invested in Taj!
