6 foot thickshakes pound the Gold Coast
One day the we’ve got a livelyhood-threatening drought on our hands, the next day parts of Australia are getting their annual quota of rain in a little over 24 hours! My good buddy Simon on the Gold Coast said to me this morning,
bq. u should see the weather up here, all the roads are flooded, looks like ill be forced to stay at home and play “Battlefield 2″:http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&start=1&q=http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/home.jsp&e=7388, what a shame…
I can’t imagine he’s to upset about that… I wonder if he’ll bother checking the beach at all considering that 6-8 foot chocolate thickshakes are breaking on the open beaches up there. The photo on the right is an absolute classic, captured by BM from “Swellnet”:http://www.swellnet.com.au, as a few local groms decide to get amongst the foam-balls!
