Beggars can’t be choosers

Surfing “stormies”:http://www.surfsouthoz.com/gallery.php?item=stormy is par for the course if you’re a surfer stuck in Adelaide. The only time I ever get to surf my ‘local’ (lovingly known as Smellies) is when gale force onshores whip up enough swell to make it up the gulf to West Beach and even then its far from world-class surf. Nevertheless, this weekend is shaping up to be one helluva stormy according to “Swellnet”:http://www.swellnet.com.au/sa.htm and the “BOM(Bureau of Meteorology)”:http://www.bom.gov.au. I’ve got to thank Huey for making the large front coincide with the weekend, otherwise I’d be at work wishing I was surfing! But instead I get to say, ‘Seeya out there…’
