My first camera!

Update: Leaving work early today to pick up our new baby…

I never really been a photo person. I always seem to look stupid in photos, like my face has a knee-jerk reaction everytime the lens is pointed in my direction. Nevertheless I’ve become increasingly jealous of my mates and their digital cameras so after some prodding from Deb (queen of the budget) I did a bit of research and we’re now just waiting for our new “Canon Powershot S1 IS”:http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/pss1is/index-e.html to arrive! There is “a great review at steves-digicams.com”:http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_reviews/s1is.html that covers the features nicely. Its got a 10x Optical zoom with Image Stabiliser so it’ll be great for taking action shots of surfing and other sports. That means the Gallery will finally start to get some more photos!
