Another one bites the dust…

My Honda Prelude has finally succumbed to the abuse that I subject it to. It’s had a hard life being driven over potholed roads and terrain that’s probably more suited to a 4WD than a 2WD sports car, so it’s no surprise that it scored a big fat 0 for its 28 point suspension safety check! Here’s a couple of my favourite excerpts from the report:

Take note of the important bits, like *brakes don’t work* and *unsafe to drive*. They’re the things I was always thinking about as I hurtled down the “Waitpinga”:http://www.wannasurf.com/spot/Australia_Pacific/Australia_SA/East/waitpinga/index.html road at 100km/h… In fact the report makes me wonder how my car is still going at all? So it’s time to go car shopping again and this time I’m on the look out for something a little more sturdy! Oh by the way, does anyone want to buy a car? Don’t let me or the report discourage you, it really does run quite well and it’s just perfect for making someone’s death seem accidental…
